MISSION TO KENYA'S 'KIDS ALIVE' KURUNDAS CHILDREN'S HOME
With the blessing of our church fellowship here at The Ridgeway a small team of five adults and a 2yr old travelled to Kenya to support the wonderful work Kids Alive UK are doing there. Kids Alive UK are a Essex based charity and have been working at the Karundas site since 2000 and have an amazing group of young people living there, not to mention the Karundas Kenyan staff including the house mother,teachers, nurses, accountant team, cooks, herdsmen and cares who devote their lives to rescuing children at risk, giving them a home and supporting families in their distress. I can truly say I am thrilled to bits in being a representative of The Ridgeway Church being able to help in this, the fantastic life saving work that Kids Alive are doing around the world.
